Austyn and Jesse backstage at the Daddy O’s first annual jam.

Jesse Tabbish is Austyn’s superfabulous guitar instructor. His new band, or new named band, returned from California a few months ago after recording a new album. Their debut song “Black Table” was played on Gray’s Anatomy’s two hour season premier last week! That is just the coolest thing since cool-aid!

Their new name is Other Lives, old name was Kunek. If you want to come out and support them in Stillwater, they will playing outside at Eskimo Joe’s on October 15th.

Thanks to Dad we have a video of Austyn and Jesse playing Austyn’s original tune “Isabella”. Here is a link to Austyn and Jesse playing if you haven’t seen it.

Austyn had a great time at his first fall baseball game. This was the coaches and the players first kid pitch and first traveling team game. Hurricane Gustav was coming into Oklahoma as our 1st game was beginning. Just as the weather was changing so was our son’s baseball team. The first game was a complete success, no one got injured, the players all had a great time and the butterflies were set free. Immediately after the first game was the first rain shower of the evening. Although it rained very hard, it only lasted a short time. The second game only made it through the first inning and the rain began falling again. This time the game was canceled.

Austyn played center field and second base. He never had a chance to bat. He was next up at the end of the game.

The Stillwater Pioneers’ next game is Monday, September 8th at 6pm, second game begins at 7:30. They play at Hafer Park in Edmond, OK.
